This old an original press photograph shows the last years of simple energetic games of pleasure. Now replaced with twiddling your thumbs on electronic games. Setting round with nothing to do days, bored, bad tempered aimless days. Nothing to show, to do days. Are these three boys the drug, the drunk and the vandal. I dont think so, their grand children could be.
Whatever the weather these young lads are determined to have their Holiday fun. They have found a novel way of providing locomotion for their home-made trolley, and although it may be a little tiring for the cyclists – but then they take it in turns to have a rest by riding on the back. Lets have proper cycle paths for cyclists, encourage sporting fun, where everyone is a winner.
