Aircraft Text R.A.F., Bombers or Wimpeys, Wellington, Lancaster and Blenheim. The Wimpeys, known affectionately Vickers-Armstrong Wellington range bombers did some very good service at the beginning of the last war. I they were later superseded by the more powerful Avro Lancasters.
