Folland Midge

The Folland-SAAB seat is believed to be the lightest fully automatic type yet produced in any country, besides saving much valuable space. The aircraft shown at (13) is the Gnat as it would appear in the colour scheme of a famous fighter squadron, 615 There are several versions in addition to the normal fighter:there arc photo-reconnaissance models which carry several cameras and a version equipped to take four Sparrow guided- missiles. All are stressed to be catapulted from aircraft-carriers, and arrester-gear is fitted under the rear of the fuselage.

Each selected pair has been twined to give a pleasing picture to be displayed with an A4 or A3 printed size, large enough to read the small Eagle Centrespread text.
