It was published by George Allen & Unwin Ltd., of London, in 1955 and is the FIRST EDITION (stated). Cover in black cloth with new clear plastic dust-cover.
The contents include: An Illustrated History of European Writing. How to Reform One’s Handwriting. Some Contemporary Hands. Many examples of writing at each age of a childs development into an adults practiced hand. The 124 pages are nice and neat with a little light foxing to the blank pages inside the covers. The binding is very good with no loose or missing pages. There are NO inscriptions and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The original cloth hardback cover is in very good condition for its age.
